In the First Year of the Bricklayer Program, students will complete twenty-one of twenty-nine courses required to complete their training and learn the essentials of the bricklayer trade.

AFTER THE FIRST YEAR

Upon completion of the First-Year, students will enter the workforce, become registered as apprentices with the Department of Education, and will be required to return to school occasionally for the completion of their advanced courses.

INTERPROVINCIAL JOURNEYPERSON'S (IP) EXAM

Once all courses have been successfully completed and the student has obtained 7,200 hours of schooling and trade experience, they may write their Interprovincial Journeyperson’s (IP) Exam.

Interprovincial Certification is recognized throughout Canada.
